This is not typical work for me, but having originally come into possession of eight soda crates, I felt it was worth my time and effort to restore and recirculate these decades-old pieces of soda history. My intent was to keep as much of the original character of the crates as intact as possible, while giving them a new life. These are each one-of-a-kind pieces and the photographs show all four sides and a detail image.

This Pepsi soda crate is from 1962. Exterior and interior markings: Pepsi, Cleveland, Ohio, 24 Bottles, Drink Pepsi-Cola, MFG. By Standard Box Co., Pittsburgh, PA, 5-62.

Yellow Pepsi Pet Bed: $60.00

This is the only beverage crate in the series not constucted of wood. The bottom is dated 1967. It consists of a metal framework covered in heavy-grade plastic coated paperboard, which has been doubled throughout. It has been constructed to last. This piece did not receive a satin finish. Rare bottle-high Cliquot Club crate dated 1963. Exterior and interior markings: Cliquot Club, Trademark Registered, Two Dozen 7 Ounce Bottles, O.B.C., Deposit 75¢, Treen, B4, 63.

Cliquot Club Pet Bed: $80.00

The bed itself is not physically attached to the crate, and can be removed. The cushion and fabric are wrapped around and attached to a wooden platform. The patterned fabric is held in place with a few tacks. Under the fabric is a heavy gauge canvas that is stapled to the platform. The bed can be removed for basic cleaning (or if at some point you would like to replace the fabric with a new pattern). To fully wash the foam cushion, the tacks and staples need to be removed, and then reassembled.
