Pet Beds ❡ This is not typical work for me, but having originally come into possession of eight soda crates, I felt it was worth my time and effort to restore and upcycle these decades-old slices of soda history. Each is a one-of-a-kind piece. Some characteristics of the series:

· From the 1980s & earlier
· Custom bed platform
· 2" High Density Foam
· Bed is canvas wrapped
· Patterned cotton material
· Wood has clear satin finish

Construction and Cleaning:

The bed itself is not physically attached to the crate, and can be removed. The cushion and fabric are wrapped around and attached to a wooden platform. The patterned fabric is held in place with a few tacks. Under the fabric is a heavy gauge canvas that is stapled to the platform.

The bed can be removed for basic cleaning (or if at some point you would like to replace the fabric with a new pattern). To fully wash the foam cushion, the tacks and staples need to be removed, and then reassembled. Image of Construction.
