Logotype for the Armstrong
Fine Art gallery in Chicago. Dealing primarily in 19th & 20th Century prints, the gallery wanted a logotype that reflected class, refinement and referenced the time period of the art.
This one-color (plus varnish) invitation served as a gallery exhibition announcement for the contemporary work of French artist François Houtin. The invitations were mailed in 6 x 9 inch booklet envelopes.
This 52-page, one-color catalog, features historical documentation and an accompanying image for each of the 115 prints in the gallery collection. The gallery catalog serves as one of the primary methods of showing the current collection to buyers.
