Audrey Kawasaki has created some beautiful paintings and illustrations. Her technique on wood is fabulous, and the combination of transparent and opaque colors over wood grain has a very memorable and unique effect. The work is very curvalinear, somewhat reminiscent of Mucha's Nouveau style, but with a contemporary sexuality. Very nice.
